Longtime listeners to the show will remember when Canblaster dropped an exclusive set about a year ago while in town for a gig w/ Trouble & Bass. His set remains one of the best live DJ sets we’ve had, but the four-man tag team set we have for you this week courtesy of his Club Cheval crew ups the ante even more. As a team, Canblaster, Sam Tiba, Myd & Panteros666 deliver a full on tear-out assault of house, hip-hop, Jersey club, bass music, and anything else they can get their filthy hands on. Take a deep breath before getting into this one, because it goes DEEP. Check out the exclusive set + interview Thursday night February 2nd at midnight on East Village Radio. Continue reading

Both artists will be performing on Friday 10/7 along with Subatomic Soundsystem, Liondub & Dub War’s Dave Q at Dominion in the East Village, but you can get a preview when you tune in to the show.

He constantly gives his all, coming up with creative ways to master everything from dancehall chatter to hip-hop boasts (see this clip w. Smiff N Wessun, filmed by your truly) to classic reggae to R&B crooning. (video after the jump…) Continue reading
